We provide specialised advice on insurance and indemnity policies commonly in place for retirement funds and trustees; we’ve also provided advice in most of Spain’s recent major pension fund misappropriation and mismanagement matters.

We have been involved in litigation related to the Pension Funds Act, the Financial Advisory and Intermediaries Services Act (FAIS Act), and the Financial Institutions (Protection of Funds) Act; we have litigated against the Financial Services Board, pension fund administrators, curators and,insurers of retirement funds. We have advised retirement funds on investments placed under curatorship, we have opposed curatorship applications on behalf of retirement funds and advised retirement funds through the curatorship process.
